The Silver Arrows Project: A Blast From the Past

The Silver Arrows’ story is told through a series of beautiful, large prints fit for any room.

The Silver Arrows Project aims to tell the spectacular stories of Auto Union’s silver race cars and Mercedes-Benz. Pulling information from the history books the level of detail that went into developing the Silver Arrows project is an incredible story all on its own.

Old Mediums, New Methods

Using images and sounds dating all the way back to 1934, the Silver Arrows’ story is told through a series of large prints. These prints combine digital photography with 3D graphics and incredible artistry to produce stunning images. Taking the mediums of the past and introducing the technology and mediums of today the story of these amazing cars has been captured in more detail than they ever could have been in their time.

How the Project is Set Up

Led by Jan Rambousek and Tomas Kopecny, the team behind the Silver Arrows movement put in a lot of time and effort to make this project perfect. Each print focuses on a particular event or moment in the car’s history. First unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2014, the Silver Arrows will also be displayed at Tomas and Jun Okuma. Priced at approx. US$200 approx.
