Hyundai is pushing hard on the performance front, revealing their new high-performance sub-brand simply called ‘N’ taking centre stage at their display at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show next month. The sub-brand N will build new momentum for Hyundai’s driving performance while offering consumers a more emotional driving experience.
The N brand is the result of new product development and intense testing, and building on Hyundai Motor’s successful motorsport experiences and technology capability to drive future performance-oriented and race-track-capable models.
Hyundai i20 WRC Rally Car
Looking to be a strong challenger for the 2016 WRC podium, the New Generation i20 is the first prototype rally car (built on the currently produced Hyundai i20 consumer car) – and finally build to rally-specifications ahead of its debut at the start of the 2016 FIA World Rally Championship at Rallye Monte Carlo.
Showcasing the N brand further, the Hyundai RM15 concept car on display looks to showcase the company’s passion for performance and driver-focused technology which may likely come to fruition. Powered by a 2.0L 300-hp engine, the mid-engine RM15 continues to see further development and testing.
Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo
And for the gamers and the rest of us who will likely never get behind the wheel of the most outrageous concept cars, there’s the Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo virtual concept for the PlayStation Gran Turismo video game series. This car, too, looks to showcase and highlight Hyundai’s technology and race car design acumen. Through this new concept, Hyundai Motor is engaging further with its fans and the online community by making Hyundai’s passion and performance accessible to millions of people around the world.
The Hyundai i20 WRC rally car and other concepts will be unveiled on Tuesday September 15th, 2015 – and if you’re attending the Frankfurt Motor Show, head to Hall 6 to view them in person.
