The 640-HP Equus Bass 770 Throwback Muscle Car

A retro-styled V8 beauty.

Drawing inspiration from the Ford Mustang Fastback and the Dodge Challenger and powered by a thoroughly modern and highly supercharged 6.2L V8, it is easy to see why the Equus Bass 770 has become so popular. The retro styling of the boutique modern muscle car clearly shows the inspiration and influence of the Fastback and the Challenger, and the power and speed behind it make it worth the popularity.

Boasting 640 horsepower, the different parts of the Bass 770 all come together to give the Bass 770 a 0-60 mile per hour time of 3.4 seconds, a time not to be scoffed at. It’s also set apart by its top speed, which is easy to boast at about 200 mph. Equus developed the car for six years, building an aluminum chassis for the Bass 770 and making its body out of aluminum lined with carbon fiber.

The materials are strong and lightweight in order to keep body flux to a minimum and the weight down. The Bass 770 is also full of safety features, such as airbags, which aren’t usually seen in muscle cars. It also includes interior comforts such as leather, air conditioning, GPS, a radio with CD and DVD capability, cruise control, and a USB port. All in all, it’s a muscle car with a lot of speed and a lot of comfort.
