This 575 horsepower F-TYPE is the first Jaguar to wear the SVR badge

0-100 km/h in 3.7-seconds

When Jaguar debuted their new F-TYPE two-seat roadster just a few years ago – inspired by the classic E-Type and replacing the convertible XK – heads certainly turned, securing the Indian owned, British manufactured Jaguar Cars back on the map. Today, Jaguar introduced the ultra-high performance F-TYPE SVR – the automakers fastest series production vehicle to date, and a first-hand look before the official debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

Horsepower you’d expect from an SVR-treated F-TYPE

Powered by a 5.0L supercharged V8 putting down 575-hp and 516-lb.ft of torque, the F-TYPE SVR Coupe hits a top speed of 200mph (322 km/hr), propelling 0-100 km/h in 3.7-seconds. This new F-TYPE is the first of Jaguar’s vehicles to adorn the SVR nameplate. Inside, the two-seater finds unique SVR seats with a Lozenge Quilt pattern, suede cloth-covered instrument binnacle and center console, SVR steering wheel and anodized aluminum paddle shifters. Overall, expect the F-TYPE SVR to be lighter, quicker, faster and more powerful than the F-TYPE R while remaining tractable and useable day-to-day.
